Still trading from its original base in the secure and fully covered converted cold store premises at North Sea House, Wollaston Road, Lowestoft ; the business has built up a sound reputation, good local contacts and substantial stocks of reclaimed building materials that are constantly changing on a daily basis.

HBS strategy is to show our stocks in as close to ‘sourced’ condition as is acceptable and for the customer to then dictate how they would like the goods to be supplied which is obviously then reflected in the price they are happy to pay. Much of the cost in reclaimed building materials can be accumulated in the usually labour intensive ‘cleaning’ processes that can normally be carried out simply by the end customers themselves with a little free advice from HBS staff who are all experienced in the use of the materials. Alternatively of course we are more than happy to fully refurbish the materials and deliver them to the customer’s door.
